Getting started
How do I connect my PC?
Install the SimCockpit Windows app on your gaming PC. Sign in with your SimCockpit account. The PC registers itself automatically and appears in your Devices page.
How do I pair my Android device?
Open the SimCockpit Windows app and click "Show pairing QR". Then open the SimCockpit Android app, tap "Connect your PC", and scan the QR code. Both devices must be on the same WiFi network.
Dashboard & Widgets
How do I add or remove widgets?
On your Android device, open the dashboard and tap “Edit” in the top right, then “Catalog”. Tap a widget to preview it and add it. In edit mode, drag a widget to move it, use + and − to resize it, and tap ✕ to remove it.
Is my layout saved?
Yes. Tap “Done” to leave edit mode; every change is saved on the device and backed up to your account. Each phone or tablet keeps its own layout, and a new device can take over the layout of another one.
Why is telemetry not updating?
Make sure the game is running and you are driving — not in the main menu. Both PC and phone must be on the same Wi-Fi; mobile data is not enough. In the Windows app, “Your connection” shows whether the game and your mobile device are connected. If Windows blocks the connection, the Windows app shows a firewall notice with a fix.
Why does the fuel or AdBlue gauge show a wrong value at first?
Some trucks do not report their tank size to the telemetry — a known bug in the game, not in SimCockpit. Rather than guess a size, SimCockpit shows litres instead of a percentage. The first time you fill up, the app learns the real size and shows a percentage from then on. The same applies to AdBlue.
Account & Billing
How do I upgrade my plan?
Paid plans are not available yet. Once they launch, go to Dashboard → Billing, choose Start or Pro and complete the checkout; your plan activates right after payment.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Dashboard → Billing and click "Manage billing". This opens the Stripe portal where you can cancel. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
I lost access to my email — how do I sign in?
Contact us at support@simcockpit.net with your registered email and we will help you recover access.
Privacy & Data
What data does SimCockpit store?
Your email, account profile, paired devices, PC registrations, widget layouts, and subscription status. No telemetry data from the simulator is stored on our servers — it streams directly between your PC and phone.
How do I download my data?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → "Download my data". You receive a JSON file with everything we store about you, per DSGVO Art. 20.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data. Cancel any active subscription first.
